Geometry from the drawing
Bottles, tubes, boxes and pouches in exact dimensions. I build the model from a technical drawing or a photo reference – and when there’s nothing to go on, I measure and model the product myself.
I’m JJ, a 3D artist and designer. I create distinctive visuals with attention to detail, material, product and brand.
Before the first render, we get clear on what the packaging should say. Only then come geometry, material and light.
Bottles, tubes, boxes and pouches in exact dimensions. I build the model from a technical drawing or a photo reference – and when there’s nothing to go on, I measure and model the product myself.
Paper, glass and foil behave in the render just as they do in real life. I build materials from your reference and requirements, or create them from scratch – nut butter or jam textures, for example.
Lighting is always designed around the product, sometimes with my own custom HDRIs. A dark scene for premium spirits, bright isometrics for supplements.
One idea can grow into a whole range of shapes, compositions and materials – from your imagination or from a template you send me, always keeping the DNA of the product and the brand.
Finally, I build the scene, light it and render the final image. The light shows the material, the shape and the print details exactly as they’ll look on the shelf.
I treat every job individually. I look for a solution that makes sense for your situation and budget – not a template your project has to squeeze into.
Behind every render is a model, materials and light I built from scratch. Over the years, quite a lot of them have piled up.
A technical drawing or the packaging dimensions, print-ready label artwork and a reference for the look you’re after. If something’s missing, I’ll measure it or work it out with you.
AI can produce an impressive image fast – but not your packaging. A product render has to be right down to the detail: the exact shape, your label, faithful materials and print, and the same look across the whole product range. Behind my renders are over 7 years of 3D and graphic design work and the trust of brands like Vilgain and – together with Design Herynek – Metelka and Albert Michler Distillery. I don’t dismiss AI – I use it every day and know where it makes sense and saves time and budget. But always so that the result stays true to your product and consistent with what we’ve agreed.
PNG with a transparent background for online shops, social media and print. Plus a layered PSD where you can fine-tune the colour of individual parts – embossing, labels or liquids – and switch the shadow and background on or off. Animations come as MP4 or another format as needed.
Yes. In the first consultation we go through the brief, your materials and the options – no strings attached. Then I send you a tailored quote.
Yes. On request I create a version of the 3D model optimised for the web – typically GLB or OBJ + MTL – so customers can rotate the product on your site and see it from every side.
I’m afraid not. I build scenes, materials and lighting with my own methods, which are my know-how – so they aren’t part of the delivery. You get finished renders ready to use.
A single render usually within a week; a product range or an animation depends on the scope. I always confirm the exact date in the quote.
Two rounds. I’m happy to make further changes – we just agree on them in advance.
Yes. Once paid for, you can use them to promote the product without restriction – online, in print, on social media and in advertising.
